I suspect the problems may well be related. B software is included
with Sony CD-RW drives like Ahead Nero Burning Rom and EZCDCreator
are included with other brand CD-RW drives. It may help to reinstall
the B application from whatever disk may have originally come with the
Sony burner. (I am assuming it is a Sony, though it could conceivably be
a different brand burner you are using.)
