Dick Gregory wrote a book back in 1973 called "Dick Gregory's Natural
Diet for Folks Who Eat: Cookin' with Mother Nature." It details his
weight loss from 280 pounds down to 97 pounds (!!!) at the time of
publication of this book, his transition to vegetarianism and then to a
raw vegan diet, and his various fasts.
