Kabir,
I think there is much more to the story than meets the eye as well because
Baba Jobe has been doing as he pleases with the blessing and collaboration of
Jammeh all this while. Whatever is behind it, power struggle, appeasement of the
auditors in the country etc, the whole affair can open up a whole new can of
worms. Baba Jobe knows enough about all the wheeling and dealing of the APRC
regime and any retaliatory action can bring down this regime, and I guess
Jammeh in turn can espose Baba. If the APRC regime should turn on each other, it
will be well deserved justice for the Gambian people because we have had enough
of these criminals.
