Ebrima!s source got it all wrong . Sillah Bai acquired all his
properties legally during the old regime. Ebrima himself can confirm
that silleh sold his valuable property to start his business in the
tourist industry first by acquiring a boat call Jatou 1 and Jatou 2 .At
that time only Silleh and Gambia River Company operated by Pater and
Monicka were in this business which was very lucrative. Let me also
confirm that Silleh was very outspoken during his tenure at the National
Investment Board and his voice was had in all the boards that he
represented NIB. He made many enemies because of his anti corruption
campaign and went as far as pointing fingers at those who were corrupt
and no one has ever pointed a finger at him . That shows you the type of
guy he is .As i said earlier ,Ebrima is a good friend of Silleh and can
testify to these facts.
