Daddy Sang,
I heard this last night on CNN right after they took the vote count in the
Turkish parliament. It's a big blow to the U.S no doubt because Turkey was
important as a strategic location to launch an offensive from. However, I
think the Turks must have come to the realization that the cost of allowing
their bases to be used in a war will have many repercussions for a long time
to come and the U.S probably will not be there to help them pick up the
pieces after their purpose is served.
Meanwhile, the North Koreans are accusing the U.S of planning an attack on
their nuclear facility. I dont' know who is advicing this administration on
all this but they are clearly charting a disastrous course.
