The sniper, if it is he, will probably be taken back to Maryland, D.C.
and Northern Virginia to stand trial, and as far as #2, I think the
prosecutors will ask for the death sentence, if mitigating circumstances
are not invoked. :p

Also wanted to add that I'm also reading that the bullet retrieved from
Saturday's shooting in Ashland was the same as used in the other sniper
shootings, so yes, it does look as if there might be a connection
between the
two men taken into custody and the shootings. Would be a great relief
if it
were, but now I wonder 1) where they will be tried and 2) if the
prosecution
will ask for the death penalty.
