Unfortunately it's easier to blame others than to take responsibility for
one's own actions.

Also, when one doesn't feel in control of one's own life or fate, it's natural
to blame outside forces; in this case, tne Western world.  It's an attitude
all too common in the Third World, in cultures of poverty.
