Question for the list:

Like Ken Barber, I've started having issues with pain in my wrists. I was
wondering if anyone has tried the "therma-wrap" chemical heat wraps that
have recelty appeared on the market. I've used similar products in my
gloves and boots during cold-weather activities, but it would seem that they
would get awfully hot for use at room temperature.

On a related note, what sort of voice-recognition software is available (for
Windows)? The county where I work recently opened a $6 million shooting
range/driving track for public safety officers in the county (sheriff's
deputies and suburbian cops). Since I know a little bit about weaponry and
a bit more about writing gov't bids, I got "loaned" to the Public Safety
division to write bid requests to equip the range weapon systems. This
involves typing on an exponential scale compared to my usual workday typing
load. Hence, I think my wrists are starting to give way. The
powers-that-be said the check was blank if I needed adaptive software to do
this job--just get it done NOW (ain't no pressure like that of a politician
who has a limited time to spends lots o' money). Any ideas?

Thanks!

-Kyle
