Hi Gang,

I remember some of you (Magenta, Gary...), but you may
not remember me.  I was active on this list in the
mid-90s.  My name then was "Jennifer Krieg", and I was
in college getting a Bachelor's degree in Management
Information Systems (MIS).  After a few years, I left
C-Palsy because I couldn't keep up with it and had too
much other stuff going on.   I got married in 1998 and
changed my name to "Jennifer McCarthy".

For those who don't know me, I have spastic CP on my
right side.  Over the years, I've gotten very unsteady
on my feet.  I now use a cane for walking and a
PaceSaver scooter for long distances.  I'm married and
hope to start a family within the next year.  I work
for the Office of Student Disability Services at a
Florida university.  After years of struggling, I
think I found my calling for I really like my job!
What brought me back here was a student client of mine
who has severe CP and needs some kind of support
structure.   I went looking for the C-Palsy list
because I know it helped me a lot.  I gave the client
the info to sign up, so we'll see...

BTW, I'm interested in privately talking with any
women who have CP and have had children.
