Jenn,

I know you've been through a lot and you're scared, but I honestly think
these people will be of more help than you've gotten from others.

Here's why:

They are PAIN SPECIALISTS, and so will not discount you when you tell
them of your pain. They will very likely know of avenues you've never
heard of and may be able to make recommendations far better than a IBP,
etc. and will likely be the best step you've taken so far to deal with
your pain. Pain specialists, by the very nature of their specialty have
to be multi-disciplinary specialists. They cannot have a narrow focus
as a neurologist or orthopaedist would.

> Hi Everyone,

Could you please say some prayers for me that I find the right people to
help me. I am going to the Pain Clinic in about a week and a half
(Easter Monday, ironically), but I have just become so scared that no one
will want to help. That is all that doctors have shown me in the past
year. I guess I am feeling in some ways like a victim, and I recognize
that this is not good, But I NEED TO TRUST AGAIN, and that is very hard
for me. I AM GOING TO DO MY BEST TO GO INTO THESE APPOINTMENTS IN
TORONTO WITH AN OPEN MIND, BUT IT IS SO HARD WHEN I FEEL LIKE HELPFIL
THINGS HAVE BEEN TAKEN AWAY FROM ME-- BOTOX, INTRATHECAL BACLOFEN, ETC.
Maybe there is something else that will help, and I know I must keep an
open mind but I AM SO SCARED. Thank you. Jenn
