Betty, I totally understand. I decided against going to that bat mitzvah last
weekend in DC because i would have had to ask my sister to assist me in
getting dressed, and she's always so ... like like annoyed that I'm getting a
little worse each year... i know it's scary for her to see, and it's probably
painful for her to see her baby sister who used to do everything - now need
so much more help.  also her home is not accessible, so I would need her to
carry the wheelchair up and down, and I know she would resent that too. So, I
just said, I'll send the cousin a gift, I do not need that much frustration.
