Bobby,
It's turning out to be a tough year for you already. Good friends are hard
to come by. As you know, it's important to share your grieve, get it out.
It's what friends are for. Maybe when you get done with the move to Austin,
you can find volunteer work that will keep you happy and your mind busy.
For now we grieve with you.

Beth T. the OT

Subject: My AA sponsor

I went to my regular AA meeting today and found out my friend and sponsor
was
found dead in his sleep last night. He was in good health as far as we knew.
He was a great gift to our AA community and was a great guy. We had lunch 2
or 3 times a week. He was the best Dermatologist in Memphis and treated many
people who were down and out without charge. He also took residents from our
med school and would share with them his professional knowledge as well as
his problems with drugs which plague many medical personnel, teaching the
residents that no one is immune to drug addiction. I am very angry and
depresses right now. My niece, my sponsor and the many others in my life
taken from me. I hate to be a cry baby. Retirement isn't all it's cracked up
to be since I do not have my work to lose my self in times like these.
I had lunch with Ralph Monday and told him I would see him around. We never
know!
The good guys go and the #@@ holes hang around.

I apologize for spilling my guts!

Bobby
