I've purchased many,many components on-line, here's my list that I run
through each time I want to make a purchase: Newegg.com (excellent for
everything from the case and all that goes in it), Provantage.com,
Directron.com (good selection for pc cases & mods), Egghead.com (however not
as cheap on most items as in the past), EMScomputing.com (good site for
monitors, etc). Here are some good sites for comparison shopping(find the
item your interested in and they spit out a list of places that carry it and
their prices): Nextag.com, Pricescan.com, Pricegrabber.com, Price.com,
Dealtime.com. If this helps, I just put a pc together, I purchased the ATX
Case and EVERYTHING that goes inside at Newegg.com, & the monitor at
EMScomputing.com. Happy Shopping
Al

Subject: [PCBUILD] Where to buy computer parts

computer. My problem, at this time, is not what to buy, but where to buy it.
A couple of companies that seem to have a great variety and good prices are
"Tigerdirect" and "Googlegear". However, I don't know anything about either
one. Because this is my first venture into this type of thing, I am
skeptical about everything.
