Paul,

You can use PC Anywhere or Laplink (and probably other such remote control
applications), but these are pretty pricy - both over $100 for non-upgrade
purchases.  If you want the speed from that connection, it might be worth
it, but if you want a cheaper solution, try the serial cable.  It will be
slower than USB, but faster than a parallel connection and only in the
neighborhood of $10 for the cable.
