Yes Joseph, it's great. As I said, I have it and it's probably the most
useful piece of software I've used.
I'd actually had it salted away for months, but it wasn't until you recently
commented on it that I decided to try it.
It's only had one hiccup, just after I installed it, when I deleted about
3GB of files. In fact GoBack went into hibernation, citing 'massive file
deletion' as the cause, and didn't get started again until way later. Now I
think about it, that was probably because the amount of files deleted
exceeded the storage amount of 2GB.
I've now changed that to 4GB but, as you say, more would be better.
Actually, it's probably worth while keeping a spare 10GB drive coupled up,
just as a GoBack cache.
I think the next time I intend to delete a whole bunch of stuff, it might be
an idea to disable GoBack first. Or would that cause malfunctions - what do
you think?

> The length of the history is a function of the size of gobackio.bin and
the usage. A lot of deleted files, installations, downloads, ad infinitum
will fill up the *.bin, and shorten the length of the history. If the
computer is not run for days at a time, you will have stuff going back far
longer than usual. I usually keep mine in the neighborhood of 3-5 days
history, which with my usage doesn't require such a large *.bin. I can get
that length of history on 500 Mb of *.bin, which I hardly miss on a 40 gig
HD. As I've said before, if you don't have Goback, you need to get it right
now. Once you've had it you'll feel nervous without it.
Joseph Marty.
