Wow. Interesting. I had cataracts when I was 37. This was three years
prior to my thyroidectomy (hot and cold nodules and my brother had had
thyroid cancer at 25 so I said "take it out!") and after that, three months
later total hysterectomy due to 15 years of increasingly impossible fibroid
tumors and all that that entailed. I have considered myself lucky that
everything that has gone wrong has been somewhat "replaceable". My mother
was hypo all of her life, her periods just stopped at age 30. Cataracts at
age 60. Again, interesting.
Now, after one year with Doc Don, I feel better at 50 than I did at 25 if
somewhat less physically athletic...and I can live with that just to be able
to stay awake and think again!
