Unithyroid provides you with thyroid hormone. Carbimazole stops your body
from making thyroid hormone. If you had RAI I do not understand why they are
only giving you 5 mcg a day of Unithyroid. RAI kills the thyroid so it no
longer works. Then you must supplement with artificial thyroid hormone.
