Does anyone out there have problems with Sterk's Bakery in Niagara Falls? Their service seems to leave much to be desired. I have placed orders with them and after 3 weeks have passed, I start calling. Right now four weeks have passed for me, and over six weeks for another person I know. They take your phone number and then NEVER return calls. I have to call four or five times, and they always promise they will ship it "tomorrow". Tomorrow never comes.
What I can't understand the most is this: They come to celiac conferences and show you what wonderful bread they have and encourage you to order. Then they never send the orders. I know they are basically a "mom and pop" operation, but that is no excuse. You either want the business or you don't, and being timely with deliveries is so important.... particularly when a customer is out of bread.
Anyone having similar problems?
