Last night I went to Gus' Place which belongs to a group of restaurants that
can cater to people with celiac disease. They've always been a great
restaurant, but now they have a specially marked menu that shows which dishes
are gf. I would say that at least 75% of the regular menu is gf. They serve
Greek/Mediterrannean cuisine. It's on Waverly Place just off of Sixth Avenue
in the West Village, downtown NYC. Very nice people and great food. The
manager even asked me if I had seen the recent article in the NYTimes on
celiac, so they're well aware of it.
