Synthetic thyroid hormones are expressed in metrics (micrograms or a
millionth of a gram). Natural or dessicated Thyroid Preparations are in
Grains. 1 Grain is equal to 60 mcgs.

I thought 1 grain of Armour was 60 mg as my Armour bottles say, not 60mcg.
I'm not sure all doctors or pharmacies recognize grains since my pharmacist
told me that grain was an old term.
