I have not been adequately treated for years until last October when I went
to see Dr. Donald Michael. I may have been Hashimotos, but I definitely have
Wilson's Thyroid Syndrome (very high Reverse T3). The hearing loss started
long before and has increased. Before 1994 I took "a lot" of Synthroid in
order to be able to function somewhat normally. Starting in 1994 I had
absolutely dreadful treatment for a period of time, based on TSH, during
which considerable damage happened, which was totally unnecessary. Since
October, a little at a time, I'm trying to deal with various health problems
for self and for elderly hypothyroid (or hyper RT3) family members.
