If you check out the archives at www.emissary.net/thyroid, and look under
nerve problems, Dr. Michael (Doc Don), a former neurologist said on a number
of occasions that hypothyroidism mimicked or caused the nerve problems.
Sometimes they get better with appropriate thyroid treatment. I limped
painfully from "plantar fascitis" for 4 years, when Armour made me better the
podiatrist told me that meant it had been a nerve problem, which thyroid is
well known as causing.
Do you feel adequately treated? If not, that may be the entire reason you
are losing your hearing and it may be totally unnecessary.
