I have been taking synthroid .2 mg for 10 years since my thyroid was removed. I have never been completely free of symptoms. My TSH has been .32 and 1.2 the last two times with know change in medication or lifestyle. I recently asked my doctor to try armour thyroid. She agreed and when I filled the perscription I receiced a medication called thyroid 60mg. Is this somekind of genaric of armour thyroid? I have read other posts that talk about grains. Does this seem like the correct dose and how many mg. is a grain?
