This is an interesting thread for me.  My first 2 Endos told me they would
NOT increase my Levoxyl because it would put me at risk for Osteoporosis.
At the time, my TSH was less than 1 and they thought I was crazy for wanting
more meds.  One Endo actually said to me, "ANYONE would feel better with
more T4.  It gives you more energy and helps you lose weight.  You actually
need to lower your dose or I can't treat you anymore."  I left that office
with copies of my medical records in my hand!

I finally found an ENDO that would listen to my body and did increase my
dose. He admitted he was a little uncomfortable with it  but agreed to a
trial base.  When I went back in 6 weeks he was very surprised to see that I
was NOT in Hyper-mode.  He was also surprised that I had not lost any weight
but my energy did increase.  It was then that I realized I had almost no
appetite.  Once I increased the meds, I started eating meals again (not
overeating - just feeling hungry like a normal person!).

I chickened out writing a scathing letter to the previous Endo - I'm not
sure why - tha't usually right up my alley.  Maybe I will now!  :o)
