Tell me more about glucose intolerance pattern with hypothyroidism. I have
a offical diagnosis of TYPE 2 Diabetes and a symptom based diagnosis of
hypothyroidism with low normal TSH, free T3 and free T4- basically seems
like cellular resistance of various types.
After eating about 100 gms of simple sugar, my glucose at 15 minutes is 85,
30 minutes 97, 1 hr 117, 2 hrs 123. Often what happens is the glucose
rises higher several hours later and then after fasting all night, the
morning glucose is more elevated than usual- maybe 140. I thought this was
a sign I was still producing either adequate or too much insulin.
I currently take Glucophage but believe my pattern was similar before
that. Also take 3 gr of Armour.
