1 grain (60 mg) of Armour has 38 mcg of T4 and 9 mcg of T3
Thyrolar 1 has 50 mcg T4 and 12.5 mcg of T3.
However, info from Forest Pharmaceuticals who makes them both shows a table
comparing 1 grain of Armour to Thyrolar I, to 25 mcg of Cytomel or 100 mcg
of plain T4 drugs.

I heard once that the response to 1 gr of Armour should be about the same
as the respinse to Thyrolar 1 even though the mcg amounts of T3 and T4
differ.  You may absorb one of these better than the other.  The chart from
Forest also says "These approximate daily doses are based on clinical
evaluations.  Please keep in mind that a dose adjustment may be required."
