I suppose you wonder when they will get it right! Medical procedures are
time-consuming, anxiety-producing, and if one pays for them, expensive.
I've had a full incisional thyroid biopsy at a teaching hospital as a
research patient, and had no adverse consequences as a result. Current docs
believe this is an actual thyroidectomy which it is not- - this is despite
the fact that I have provided the pathology report of the biopsy to the
docs. Oh well- - truth is much stranger than fiction. Who would ever
believe the patient and her path reports, even if she's a retired medical
school professor. My current medical records state "thyroidectomy"
