I am hyPERthryoid and my alternative med doc is giving me liquid iodine.  My
hyPERthyroidism is better since I started drinking it.  If you're already
hyPO is it possible the liquid iodine is making you more hyPO?  As for the
itching, hyPER certainly does that but there are also skin problems with
hyPO.  I don't know if itching is one of them.
