It appears despite the massive number of doctors in southern California, the
endocrinologists are a bunch of conservative B**ds.
I know of one thyroid specialist who has an office in Beverly Hills and Palm
Springs. I have not had the money to visit him yet. He was referred by my
gynecologist who has been better for my hormone health than my present
endocrinologist.
I have Hashimotos and almost was in Myadexic coma when it was discovered by
my gynecologist. He also found the 5 cm nodule. My less than empathic
endocrinologist can't even feel it. He missed it twice when he tried to do a
fine needle biopsy.
I have a complex medical case as I take several medications that interfer
with lab tests. After my last visit with dr. endo, I have been trying to
self treat, rather than die of too little thyroxine.
Here is the name of the Dr. recommended by my gynecologist. His nurse,
energetic and svelt goes to this doctor.
Dr. Boris Catz, MD.
4 N. Roxbury Drive Suite 1-2
Beverly Hills, CA 90210

Diseases of the Thyroid.
He does not take insurance. You will have to bill them yourself. The
upfront fee is $300.00.
Good luck and let me know if and how it turns out.
