Finding a suitable doctor is a daunting task indeed, especially if you are
sick. And the mere act of hunting for a doctor costs both money and time- -
and all the while you're getting sicker. Years can go by in doing that
search. First the 6 month lead time, then the disappointing interview, then
the bills, and of course no treatment plan.

If I had it to do all over, I'd opt for a long distance trip to someone I
knew could help.

I just don't get it- - why the scarcity of treating physicians?? Why the
preponderonce of big-egoed closed minds?

I had an eye-opener last August when after 2 biopsies for breast cancer and
lung disease both came up positive (i.e., need immediate surgery and
chemotherapy, respectively) I was immediately abandoned by my primary
"doctor" for being "too complicated". My bills were paid in full, and I
needed immediate post surgical blood work from this "doctor" for
Coumadin-monitoring.

No post surgical care, no referral to another doctor in this doctor starved
town, no nothing. The breast surgery had to be cancelled with the surgeon
because the hospital required a primary care doctor too. I could not get
treatment at all for 3 conditions, each of them very dangerous
onditions. -- - - - - and the final insult was that I got a bill from thie
"doctor" for her refusual to treat. A fraudulent claim was sent to Medicare
by this "doctor".

It took 6 months to get a primary doctor far far away, and 3 months to find
a surgeon in a system willing to do breast surgery without a primary
"doctor". Inadequate, unethical, comfort-loving, thought-avoiding "doctors"
who prefer to limit their practice to the really well cost patients their
lives, their time, and their money.

Good luck in your search for the holy grail.

And T3 IS NOT risky, if they doctor thinks

Any visitation of a doctor, to find out if he will
