Other treatments are available elsewhere like in the US but many patients
here are just as desperate to find a doctor who will prescribe them.  Many
patients in the US can not get anything but Synthroid because doctors here
are taught that it is the best and only treatment needed.  At least we have
the option of going to another doctor who might be more open-minded
(Knowledgeable).  I travel about 12 hours to see Doc Don!  I belong to an
HMO so only limited local care is covered.  Nancy
