Happy holidays everyone!

I am wondering if someone might be able to provide some insight into
what this rash might be ... Last night we had Christmas dinner at a
relative's home, and I thought everything I ate was "safe" but by the
time I got home, I was having my typical gluten reaction. This morning
I have an incredibly itchy red spot on my left hip. I get this
everytime I have a gluten reaction and it goes away within a few days -
and it is definitely related to gluten because I never have it
otherwise. It starts off looking like dry skin, but then turns very
red. I don't feel any bumps, which makes me think it isn't DH (doesn't
look like the pictures I have seen). The area is about the size of a
quarter, maybe a little larger. I have never seen a dermatologist for
it, because it always clears up on its own within a couple days. Pre-
diagnosis, I always thought I just had a patch of really dry skin, but
it went away with the initiation of the GF diet. Just wondering if
anyone else has a skin reaction like this, and if there is a name for
it. Also, what can I apply to it to make it feel better?

Thanks so much!!
