I also experienced palpitations and "skipped beats" when under a higher
dosage of synthroid. These would occur while I was reading in bed, a
totally relaxed situation that had nothing whatsoever to do with stress
(something that doctors like to convince you is happening). When I had my
dosage lowered, these palpitations disappeared. I also developed
osteoporosis while under the higher dosage of synthroid (.125) which was
revealed in a bone denisity scan. I am a grand total of 48 years old!
