 Hi Everyone:

I'm going for a full physical check up including blood work in
September.

After swinging rapidly between episodes of over- and under-, I had
RAI and am now well stabilized using 0.88 Synthroid. I was under the care of
a endocrinologist who then referred me back to my family doctor for
maintenance (although my family doctor has informed me that he will refer me
back to the endo if either the bloodwork or how I feel warrants it).

My family doctor is very accommodating in checking all the standard
blood work related to thyroid (although he depends more on how I feel than
just the bloodwork --- I guess that I am lucky) and anything else that I ask
him to check. For that reason, I want to know what exactly I should be
asking him to check. I want to ensure that I am getting everything checked
that needs to be checked.

Could someone tell me which blood work I should have done with
respect to thyroid: TSH? T3? T4? Anything else.

        Thanks.
