It might be helpful if you could tell us more. How do you feel? Can you
tell a difference when your TSH goes up? How much does it go up? Do you
have any other results like a free T3 and free T4?

It is possible that each time you raise the dose, there is initial
improvement but the thyroid decreases the amount of thyroid hormone that it
is secreting because you are getting more in a pill. Initially, while you
are getting the usual amount from your own thyroid plus extra from the med,
the TSH goes down. Shortly after though, the thyroid slows its production
and TSH goes back up indicating that more med is needed. You are on a
higher that typical dose but it may just be that you need a little more to
be fully replaced. Most people who take 75-125 mcg of T4 meds are probably
underdosed so don't go by what's average!
