Hi Group!
I saw my Endo yesterday. He said that my RAI
scan result, showing that I was over-producing,
was inaccurate. According to my latest lab
results, I'm still border-line hypo. So, I'm
back on the Levoxyl except that he lowered my
dose down to 25 mcg. I had been on 50 mcg for
the past 3 years. I go back for another blood
test in 8 weeks, at which time he may adjust my
med back up again. I feel that he is a competent
Endocrinologist and I have a lot of faith in him.
His name is Dr. Richard Griffiths. He works for
Health Care Partners in Duarte, CA.
My blood pressure has gotten quite high lately
(160/90), so now I'm trying to watch my salt
intake to bring it down to a normal range again.
I also need to lose about 60 pounds. He
recommends a diabetic diet for everyone. I'm
going to look into it.
