Amen. I struggled with no weight loss until I cut the
simple carbs and upped the protein a little.
For me personally, wheat makes me crave
all carbs, so I stick to small portions of whole grains
like brown rice and oats. Lean protein, vegetables,
olive oil, a piece or two of fresh fruit and small amounts
of whole grains and low-fat dairy have made a
real difference. This takes my sugar cravings away, too.
