Dear Folks,
I have just returned from a holiday in the Northeast of the U.S. where
my family are located.
I had a conversation with a health care worker who works with elderly
people. He asked if I had ever considered a thyroid replacement- When
I asked what he meant he said a transplant. I replied that in my 5
years of research etc, I had never come across even a suggestion that
this was possible. He said that he was aware that it had been done but
could not document it for me. He had said that he will try to find out
more for me. I am a bit sceptical and wondered if anyone on the list
has come across this concept. My inclination is that I have enough
trouble with the thryroid I have I don't want another one! But I am
curious.
Regards,
Vicki
