Another possibility is Dr. Kenneth Blanchard, at Newton-Wellesley Hospital
in Newton. The following is from Constance (Jan 26/01):
"If you're close enough to Boston to go to Lahey clinic, I'd suggest going
to see Dr. Kenneth Blanchard, in Newton-Wellesley hospital. He's gotten a
lot busier since Mary Shomon mentioned him in her book, and he's great. I
have a really complicated case of hypo, and he's been fabulous.
For ages he's been telling me that my hyper symptoms are indeed coming from
a hypo, not hyper, state. Previously, when I felt palpitations, my doctors
would all lower my dose. Big mistake. Dose needed to be raised. Long
story, but the moral is - find someone who knows whereof they speak."
