You say you were started with 100 mg of synthroid? And to be rechecked
every 6 weeks??? I was started on 25, and not to be checked for 3 months! I
also have had some heart problems they say is related to the hypothyroid.
Still wearing a king of hearts monitor. I have alot of premature atrial
contractions, where they say upper chamber is where thyroid problems
generally take place. I have had only one black out so far, but lots of
scares. I wonder if because of my new found heart problem, or at least the
so far unexplained black out, is why they would start me out so slow and
make me wait so long for retesting? I have just been on synthroid for the
past 6 weeks, and was feeling a bit frustrated I had to go another 6 more
before I can see where I am at. No one on here really mentions the
premature atrial contactions with their pauses, so not sure how common this
is with hypothyroid. I hear of arythmias mostly in hyper cases. I do feel
better, but still dizzy and not myself. Would love to hear from more people
with the heart symptoms....Suzanne
