Someone once told me to go to the docs performing
research.
I stumbled into an interesting endo experience that way when
I contacted Lahey Clinic (MA) about my libido disappearing.
This endo put me on DHEA, increased my levoxyl,
tinkered with my estrogen at my request, based on my symptoms,
following up with lab work that backed up the decisions.
This guy checked everything and found I had a barely
measurable level of free testosterone in my blood.
He mentioned that he looks closely at T3/T4 numbers.
He doesn't just go by TSH like so many. He just said I
could stand to be a little higher in T3 & T4 blood levels.
Nice experience. I felt respected. He's a researcher
for sexual function, smart and not a hint of
condescension. So...there's a few good ones out there.
It was like one-stop-shopping for my endocrine system :>)
