I had a very different experience with a DO, although I must admit, she was
willing to try cytomel with me after sending me to 2 endos and having 9
months of below normal T3 readings. She knew little about the endocrine
system and I only improved because of my relentless efforts to convince her
to use T3 with me. It sounds like Maggi has a great DO but just want to add
that not all DO's operate the same.
After getting too frustrated with my DO, I started making phone calls to
find the names of docs prescribing armour and got off of my managed care
insurance. I have different docs now and am much better.

Have you ever tired
a DO? They usually specialize in chiropracting and chelation and
alternatives. But, the thing is they are all usually very well informed
with
hormonal issues and the endocrine system.
