Late loss of baby teeth? My daughter got braces at 11. She first needed to
have her baby teeth removed, the orthodontist wasn't sure the remaining ones
would ever come out because the roots were more like adult teeth. So, by
what age should children lose their baby teeth?

Also, my belief is my daughter's hypo problems started around the time of
puberty, age 12 when she started preferring to yell at parents instead of
doing what whe was told to do, yelling at them without relenting in spite of
warnings, for little reason. That was also the year she developed
costochondritis, chest pain in the rib cartilage more common in hypothyroid
patients according to Mary Shomon. (I frequently read Mary Shomon's
statements, "radical" to the medical community, but "mild" to my opinon as
more common in hypothryoidsm so if you are adequately treated it may go away)
Is my suspicion that it is not unusual for girls to start having problems
with hypothyrodisim around the time of puberty correct? I read somewhere
that around this time in normal girls their thyroids start producing a lot
more thyroid hormone. So, maybe it's just more noticeable then because this
new production is not occurring? (Again please note, very few doctors would
have diagnosed her even now, not overweight, intelligent, just a few mild
symptoms like slow heart rate, low blood pressure, costochondritis, rebellion
(teenage rebellion as if that weren't normal), and cold hands. The cold
hands especially got better on replacement. She's up to 6 grains now under
the local doctor. How many on 1 or 2 grains still have symptoms and wonder
why?
