Needs to be done under the care of a competent doctor, in case you take too
much and need to go to the emergency room doctors aren't too happy if you go
up without their permission.
I increase a grain at a time, but I usually feel terrible for the first
couple days, and I don't know why, it's not a hyper feeling, I'm tired and
feel bad. Once or twice I thought something bad was happening to me, but
those feelings went away. You can usually tell if you need to go up because
you get used to the amount you're on then you have a decline, until you're
finally get to the right amount. I've gone up 2 grains in a 2 week period
with no problem. It doesn't speed up my pulse rate significantly, but my
wife can only increase in 1/2 grain increments because it does affect her
heart rate.
