Hello All,
I just found out that TechTV (www.techtv.com) is having a show that talks
about a gluten testing device for foods.
--------------
I copied the following text from their website that tells you what it is
going to be about...
Watch This on TV
Thursday 9/12
11:30 a.m. Eastern
Monday 9/16
2 a.m. Eastern
Gluten testing
A simple new test has been developed for spotting traces of gluten in food.
It should prove useful for people suffering from celiac disease, which
makes a person unable to tolerate gluten. A protein found in wheat, barley,
rye, and oats, gluten damages the lining of the small intestine, making it
impossible for nutrients to be absorbed.
---------------
Exciting not only to have the possiblity that there could be a device I
could use when out at a resturant but that word is getting out about the
disease.
