just a possibility - could it be the power supply overwhelming? Try a
"bigger" PSU is nothing works.
Also, try use the latest beta aflash which you can find from ftp.asuscom.de,
I have had few BIOS flash problems with official aflash in past, and found
the beta aflash is perfect.
