Thanks John, that's very helpful info on the GeForce2. 
Perhaps you'd be kind enough to explain where my card fits into the hierarchy.
It's a Gigabyte GV-GF2010DT-32 which I guess is the Gig model no., also
labelled as nVidia GeForce2 Pro 32Mb DDR. The box says it's a 256 bit
2D\3D processor.
