I understand that the pet food industry is making cats and dogs very
sick, with the same array of diseases that humans have: cancer,
diabetes, etc. because of the grains in their food, because of the
preservatives, but also because they have evolved to eat food raw and
not cooked.

Yes-- I would say some kind of meat with some kind of fat-- pemmican
is an example but you don't have to follow a "recipe" for it, you can
just eat meat with fat-- I am trying it out raw, and it's good.
