I agree, and it depends upon how you lift. Speaking for myself, if I do
rep-pause, depending on how long I pause, it could be very little CV work.

If I do not pause, do constant reps, then transition to a new excercise with
little pause time, I work my CV system very hard, especially with abdominal
and upper leg excercises, those involved in the squat, the deadlift and the
stiff-legged deadlift.
