As most cattle (and hog, chicken, etc) feed is DRY food (commercial farms, not
pasture grazing), and as flax is a grain that is basically harvested once a
year, and as the oil in the flax seed goes rancid quickly without refrigeration,
it seems it would mean refrigeration of animal food to avoid feeding them rancid
stuff. This of course would increase costs. Not sure if this is accurate
thinking. Its what has crossed my own mind.
